Damion McCullers was one of the founding partners and attorneys of Whitaker and Hamer (previously McCullers, Whitaker and Hamer). McCullers worked with our firm for 15 years before transitioning into the role of Judge and now his new role as the District Court Judge to Judicial Court 10F here in Wake County.
Regarding his appointment, Governer Roy Cooper shared that “Damion McCullers is an experienced attorney and thoughtful leader who will make an excellent District Court Judge. I appreciate his willingness to serve Wake County and North Carolina.”
Previously, McCullers served Wake County as a Judge, Assistant District Attorney and District Court Arbitrator, and he has worked for Legal Aid of North Carolina.
Although Damion is no longer with the firm, we could not be more proud of his accomplishments!
